| Current / Future Projects -- Possibly a Dana 44 rear from a Scout II parts rig I have. Most efforts have been at keeping the 'Long Run Fleet' up and running lately.. My primary project is my '71 CJ-5, what my wife calls "The Other Woman" and what I call "Project Slow Ride." | ||
| Interesting History -- I traded a '76 K-10 short/wide box "monster," that was falling apart, straight across for this Jeep in November '96. When I got it, it had a Rancho 2.5" lift and bald 31's from four different makers, but the engine, trans, t-case and rear diff had all been rebuilt within 35K miles, so I figured I came out on the better end of the deal. In August '97, it successfully ran the Rubicon with 8 bobtails from my club, amazing them with it's agility and articulation. With the 31's at street pressure, it ramps a 944 on a 20 degree ramp. | ||
