Misc --Had a matchbox model jeep when i was a kid. I fell in love with it and vowed that i would someday own a Jeep. My original dream was to own a Willy's but the CJ just called to me from across the lot when I was looking for a vehicle.. I couldn't ignore it's charisma.
Current / Future Projects -- To get a spare tire carrier, and a couple of real bumpers. No plans to alter the motor anytime soon. Except for the tires and suspension, this CJ is pretty much stock.
History: Rebuilt transmission and carb. A former rattle trap, now well oiled. Haven't run any trails yet, but the beast has gotten me out of plenty of ditches when I've gone camping in the Angeles Nat'l Forest and San Bernardino Forest.
Clubs-- None yet.. wouldn't mind finding a local one though. If you know of one, fill me in
