History:My father, who had gotten tired of me driving his new Grand Cherokee around all the time, decide I should get my own car. I was in the market to buy a Jeep so I left my name and number with several dealers in my area. The night before I was supposed to go to the beach, I got a phone call from one of these dealers. He told me he had a couple of Jeeps in that I should look at. I drove up there immediately. He had one Jeep on the lot and the other down the street. He showed me the one on his lot. It was black with a tan top and had Sahara decals and spare tire cover. I knew right away this was a fake Sahara. The inside was stripped down to the base options and it had a 4 cylinder engine. I asked him to show me the other. We drove down the street and there it was. The Jeep of my dreams was parked in front of me. It was hunter green, tan top, 4.0L, and yes this one was a true Sahara. I had always dreamed of having a Jeep just like this one. I used to take pictures of Saharas I had seen around town. Anyway here it was. It also had brand new tires and a 2" body lift. I fell in love. Unfortunately I was not ready to make a deal as I was going out of town the next day. My father told me if it was there when we got back than it must have been meant to be. The whole week at the beach I tried not to think about it. I was afraid I would jinx myself. Anyway when we got back it was still there. The funny thing was that it got lost in the back of the service lot and wasn't displayed for most of the week. We put a deal together and I got my graduation present a year early. I loved it but didn't know how to drive it. I never learned to drive a stick. I quickly learned. My Jeep is one of the most important things in my life and I treat it so.
Other Jeeps Owned -- Father owns a very nice 5.2L 1995 Grand Cherokee Laredo It is red. It has the Up Country Suspension Package. It also has the swng away spare tire carrier and a CD changer.
