| History -- The Jeep was rebuilt over 3 years from the ground up. Started life as an 84' CJ7, frame and body were shortened to CJ5 specs. All components were checked, replaced, rebuilt, and/or refabricated. Body was shortened from a CJ7 to a CJ5, then new floors and outer side panels were installed. A 78' CJ5 was also purchased and internals such as wiring, rollbar, gauges and heater were used. The axles were scrounged from a 79' International Scout, totally rebuilt with new bearings, seals, kingpins, and brakes. The Jeep was built with reliabilty in mind. No part was left untouched, except the tranny and t-case. | ||
